You Are Not Starting Over — You Are Coming Home

A gentle note for the woman standing in the in-between.

There is something about the first real day of spring sunshine that stops you mid-step.
You look up, and there it is — warm, unhurried, generous.
The light doesn't ask anything of you. It just is. And for a moment, something in your chest loosens a little.
You Are Not Who You Were — And That's Okay
If you've been through burnout, you know the grief of no longer recognising yourself. You showed up — as the mum, the partner, the friend, the daughter — until one day your body simply said no more.
And now here you are. Past the worst of it, but standing in a strange middle place. Not the old you, not yet someone new.
I want you to know: that in-between is not emptiness. It is space. Space cleared, slowly and painfully, to make room for something truer.
The Sun Doesn't Force Spring to Arrive
The bulbs pushing through the cold earth right now didn't decide one morning to try harder. They simply responded to the warmth that met them.
You are the same.
Your authentic self doesn't need to be forced or figured out all at once. She needs warmth, curiosity, and permission. She needs someone to say: I see you. And I believe in what's coming.
You Don't Have to Find Yourself Alone
Rebuilding your identity after burnout is not about abandoning the people you love. It is about remembering that you are also someone worth loving — deeply, fully, by yourself first.
And you don't have to figure that out alone.
If something in these words has felt like a hand on your shoulder, I'd love to connect. [Book your free discovery call here ]
Because just like the Spring sun — you deserve to take up space, be seen, and bloom. 🌸
with Love, Teresa
